This year's Royal Ascot event commences on Tuesday 14th June at Ascot Racecourse and runs for five whole days up until Saturday 18th June. There are 15 group races in total featuring some of the season's most exciting fixtures such as the St James’s Palace Stakes, Queen Anne Stakes, Prince of Wales’s Stakes, Coronation Stakes, Golden Jubilee Stakes and of course the the Gold Cup.

With an estimated attendance of over 300,000 over the five day period the event is certainly going to be drawing in the crowds. Make sure you stay one step ahead by preparing your travel arrangements now to avoid any delays on the day!

Royal Ascot Top Tip

Look out for Tepin running in the Queen Anne Stakes at 2:30pm on Tuesday 14th June. The five year old mare has finished 1st in her previous six races so is a strong favourite to win this year's race.

Royal Ascot Dress Code

Royal Ascot enforces a strict dress code that race goers are expected to adhere to. Fancy dress, novelty or branded clothing are no permitted so make sure you check the Royal Ascot Style Guide before you go to avoid disappointment.

Approximately 400 helicopters land at Royal Ascot every year allowing some savvy race goers to avoid the congestion around the racecourse as the crowds queue to get in.
